Gabriel Lacroix joined MMBC as Finance Director in 2024. Originally from Sherbrooke, he moved to Québec City in 2018 after earning a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Accounting. Gabriel began his career as a Debt Analyst with the Ministère des Finances and relocated to Gespe'gewa'gi in 2020, where he earned his CPA designation. He worked as an Auditor before becoming the Assistant Financial Controller for Gesgapegiag in 2021.
Gabriel enjoys the outdoors and woodworking and stays connected to the community by participating in traditional craft workshops. At MMBC, he focuses on leveraging his financial skills to support sustainable economic growth for the Mi’gmaq communities.
