Kammy started working at MMBC as the Communications & PR Officer in February 2023. She was born and raised in Listuguj and has strong ties to her home community.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Sociology/Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University in 2014. After a few years of working various jobs internationally, she returned to Canada and graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University in 2017.
Since then, she has been working in the communications and engagement field in Listuguj. By joining the MMBC team, she hopes to bring more awareness and knowledge to our Mi’gmaq communities about various sustainable business opportunities within our territory, Gespe’gewa’gi.
